Scheduling an Appointment
The best way to reach me is to submit the contact form on this website and briefly describe what you're looking for. I will respond to you by email to introduce myself and answer any questions you may have before scheduling an initial appointment. If you prefer, we can schedule a time to talk on the phone to answer your questions. Either way, if you're comfortable communicating via email or you'd like to set up a phone call, the contact form is the best way to start the process. As you might imagine, I'm often not available to answer the phone. And phone tag can get really frustrating! If you want to set up a phone call, we'll set up a planned time for it. No endless messages back and forth. :-)

New Client Forms
Before your first appointment, I'll give you the password for the New Client forms page, please print them out and complete them. And remember to bring them with you! :-) If it's easier, you can just come 10 minutes early for your appointment and you can fill out the forms then.
Length of Session
Individual therapy appointments are 45-55 minutes.
Payment
Payment is due at the beginning of each session. I accept cash, check or credit card.
Insurance
I am in network for BCBSNC. I am out of network for other plans. For some plans, and if it is more convenient, I can file electronically for you. I am "opt out" for Medicare. Please plan to pay the fee or your copayment at each session.
Cancellations
Missed appointments and appointments that are cancelled with under 24 hours’ notice are charged in full. Cancellations can be made by email, text or voicemail.
